plant baby styling : the cosmo studio

I first met Thuy, owner and boss babe of The Cosmo Studio,  when I moved to the Redondo Beach neighborhood, and was looking for a local nail salon to get pampered at. The Cosmo Studio was minutes from my house so I booked an appointment with Thuy and was beyond amazed with my service. My nails were perfectly filed, buffed & polished, plus I've honestly never been to a nail salon as immaculate as The Cosmo Studio! Of course I became a regular customer and booked regularly with Thuy, Linda & Noemi. Her entire staff of nail technicians are unbelievably talented and professional, and I'm sure you've seen their work pop up on my IG feed from time to time :)!

Eventually, I began helping Thuy with her salon's marketing needs from refining @thecosmostudio's instagram page to launching her email marketing program, and updating the company's logo and branding. Side note, a huge passion of mine is helping small businesses thrive, so I freelance as a digital specialist and provide a variety of services to fill small business needs. 

In early March, Thuy decided to fully rebrand her salon starting with an interior redesign, and to my surprise, asked me to partner with her to spearhead the project from a creative perspective. I've never taken on a project like this before, (let alone assumed the full creative role!) but was honored that she trusted me with an amazing opportunity!

Long days, long nights and countless trips to Home Depot have finally lead to today :) I am so excited with how bright, vibrant and fresh the salon looks and could not be more proud of how we were able to bring our vision to life!

Take a look below at some before & after photos! I loved incorporating fresh, thriving indoor plants in all sorts of shades of green around the salon to create a more inviting atmosphere. We kept the walls and decor simple & clean while mixing in minor accents and pops of color.
