MEET SEAN KEONI CRAIG

Sean Keoni Craig is passionate about lung health and as a Native Hawaiian, he is a firm believer in honoring your Kupuna. After losing his father in the early 80s from an interstitial lung disease, Keoni was diagnosed in 2015 with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis – a terminal lung disease that left him with years to live. This news came only a year after his mother was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma lung cancer. In 2018, Keoni was able to receive a double lung transplant– a life-saving surgery that has allowed him to continue honoring those who came before him. And even though he is dealing with his own life’s challenges, Keoni feels it was an honor and privilege to have been able to take care of his mother during her health ordeal. In continuing the family tradition of taking care of those who came before, he now has the privilege of taking care of other Kupuna within his ‘Ohana.
